WATCH: Video Surfaces of Woman Burning Abusive Man's Clothes

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Warning: Explicit language. A video has surfaced of a San Angelo woman who is fighting back against an alleged abuser.

The woman, Kristi Jones, in the video tells everyone in the video that she is trying to make a statement.

The clearly traumatized woman does make the statement by setting a pile of clothes on fire.

She tells San Angelo Live that this act stemmed after continuous abuse from a man.

Tom Green County is currently in a burn ban which makes it illegal to burn anything outdoors except for gas grills and enclosed containers.
