WATCH: SAPD's Record Hit & Run Officer Retires

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Chief of Police Frank Carter and many others gathered yesterday to celebrate Officer Quade's retirement. 

Steven Quade served with the SAPD for 29 years and 10 months. 

For the most of Quade's career he was the main hit and run officer. He has the highest completion number of hit and runs in San Angelo Police Department history. 

He also was a big part of the community volunteering for many community service event.
