WATCH: Doorbell Camera Catches Lawnmower Thief

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The San Angelo Police Department was able to catch a thief using a apps. 

According to SAPD, a man was arrested after stealing a lawnmower from a carport of a residence. 

The theft was caught on a doorbell camera which helped police find the suspect and the lawnmower. 

The app that was used is called the Neighbors app by Ring. "The Neighbors app is the new neighborhood watch. Get real-time crime and safety alerts from your neighbors and local law enforcement.
