BRADY, TX — A Brady Police Department officer arrested a suspect for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance after a routine traffic stop on Oct. 23, the department reported.
The officer developed probable cause during the stop to search the vehicle, which led to the discovery of a controlled substance weighing at least 4 grams but less than 200 grams, according to the Brady Police Department. The suspect was arrested on the manufacture/delivery charge.
The 452 Judicial District K9 investigator and the McCulloch County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation, the department stated.
In the post, police said the arrest “highlights how traffic enforcement aids in keeping our community safe” and reaffirmed the department’s commitment to protecting residents through proactive policing and enforcement of state and federal drug laws.
