SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been arrested after allegedly shooting at two women following an argument.
Julian Duron, 20, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to court documents, on Oct. 8, around 12:50 a.m., San Angelo police were dispatched to the 2200 block of North Poe Street regarding a shooting that occurred in the area of 11th and North Chadbourne streets.
An investigator received a phone call from a sergeant with the San Angelo Police Department and learned that the victim had reportedly been shot at an area off 11th Street. After responding to the 2200 block of North Poe, the investigator spoke with one of the victims.
She told the investigator that she was initially in a vehicle with Duron. When she got out of the vehicle, she said Duron shot at her multiple times. Her girlfriend was also involved in the incident.
Duron was located and detained near West 11th Street.
The investigator spoke with the other victim and learned the two women had been staying with Duron and his girlfriend on West 11th Street. Duron and his girlfriend were involved in an argument inside of the residence, and the two victims went outside.
Duron came outside, and one of the victims went back inside while the other stayed with Duron. The victim inside then heard a gunshot a short time later and went outside to check on her girlfriend. Duron then allegedly pushed the second woman to the ground at the end of the driveway and fired a gunshot at her. She then ran down the street away from Duron, who continued firing gunshots at her.
The investigator learned that Duron fired approximately six times, and he allegedly told the victim he was going to kill her. The gun used was described as a black handgun with a red optic and had a tan magazine well.
Then, the investigator responded to West 11th Street and learned from an officer that four spent shell casings were located in the roadway directly in front of the residence. Duron, who was detained, had a spent cartridge in his pants pocket.
An officer told the investigator that upon his arriving at the residence, he observed Duron entering a parked vehicle. Duron’s girlfriend granted the officer consent to enter the residence, where a handgun magazine was in plain view inside the house, and a bag of ammunition was located in a bedroom closet.
Duron was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Oct. 8. His bond was set at $200,000.
