San Angelo Police Investigate Saturday Night Shooting

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo police are investigating a shooting this Saturday night.

It happened at about 8:30 p.m. at a residence near the intersection of South Chadbourne Street and East Avenue J. 

The cops said that at the time of their arrival, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown. 

Crime scene tape surrounds the entrance to the home. 

The scene is still active and under investigation. It's not clear what led up to the shooting at this time. 

Police said that there is no threat to the public. 

More information will be released once it becomes available.
