Missing San Antonio Toddler Found Dead After AMBER Alert

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A 2-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER Alert was found dead early Monday near the Northside home where she was reported missing, San Antonio police said. 

Aryana Trevino Martinez was discovered unresponsive in a brushy area close to the 4700 block of Allegheny, the San Antonio Police Department said in an update. She was pronounced deceased at 12:10 a.m. Monday. 

Police issued the AMBER Alert on Sunday after the toddler was reported missing from that location around 10 p.m. The department thanked the public for assisting in the search. 

The cause of death has not been released.
