2 Arrested After Traffic Stop in Crockett County Yields THC Vape Pens, Cash

 

CROCKETT COUNTY, TX — Two men were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance after Crockett County sheriff’s deputies found multiple boxes of THC vape pens, 22 silver coins, and $10,800 in cash during a traffic stop, the sheriff’s office reported. 

The stop occurred at about 10:55 p.m. on July 9 at the intersection of State Highway 163 North and State Highway 137. Deputies conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and located the items inside. 

One of the men had two outstanding warrants from Midland County. Both were transported to the Crockett County Jail. 

The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office said it remains committed to proactively enforcing the law and working to reduce illegal drug activity. All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
