Active Shooter Situation Reported in Midland

MIDLAND, TX — Multiple law enforcement agencies responded Friday to an active shooter situation in the area of Business 20 and Eisenhower. 

The public is being told to avoid the area of all Wall Street, Industrial Avenue, and Eisenhower Drive in Midland, according to Midland officials. 

The suspected shooter is barricaded inside a building in the area, officials said. 

Multiple agencies have responded to the scene and are actively working to secure the situation. Authorities urged the public to avoid the area. 

Officials said more information would be released as it becomes available. The situation is developing.
