Repeat Child Sex Predator Added to Texas Most Wanted List

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Public Safety has added a convicted child sex offender from Amarillo to its Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list, officials announced.

Christopher Domingo Carrillo, 39, has been wanted since November 2025 for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements. Additional warrants were issued in December 2025 out of Deaf Smith County, charging him with two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact and five counts of sexual assault of a child.

Carrillo was previously convicted in 2018 of indecency with a child by sexual contact and indecency with a child by exposure following an incident involving a 13-year-old. He received five years of probation in that case.

Authorities said Carrillo is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. He has ties to Amarillo and Hereford.

Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest. Officials said all tips are anonymous.

According to DPS, the Crime Stoppers program, funded by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, provides cash rewards for information leading to arrests of individuals on the state’s most wanted lists.

So far in 2026, DPS and partner agencies have arrested 25 individuals from the Texas 10 Most Wanted lists, including 18 sex offenders and three gang members, with $40,500 in rewards paid for tips that led to arrests.

Authorities said tips can be submitted by phone, online or through social media.
