Arkansas Man Busted with Meth and Guns in Tom Green County Traffic Stop

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - On April 6, 2026, patrol deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 11700 block of North US Highway 87.   

During the stop, the deputy developed probable cause and conducted a search. The driver, Edgar Madrigal, 35 YOA, of Arkansas, was in possession of over 40 grams of Methamphetamine, various narcotic packaging items, over an ounce of Marijuana, two pistols, and a rifle.  

Madrigal was arrested and charged with Man Del CS PG 1-B>=4G<2OOG, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon, and Possession of Marijuana <2oz.

"The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office remains committed to keeping our community safe through proactive police work and aggressive traffic enforcement," the sheriff's office stated. 

His bond is currently set at $117,000.
