MIDLAND, TX — A shooting incident occurred Friday in the parking lot of Midland Park Mall near Dick's Sporting Goods, where about four gunshots were fired amid a fight involving a group of people.
The gunfire erupted while people were fighting in the parking lot. Midland officials stated there is no active shooter, and the situation is not ongoing.
Officials confirmed that one person produced a gun, discharged it, and then fled the scene. No injuries have been reported.
