UPDATE: San Angelo Police Identify Suspect in Junius Street Shooting

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department identified the suspect in a shooting that took place on Junius Street on Friday, Feb. 13.

Marcus Parker, 41, is being charged with felon in possession of a firearm, and additional charges are pending, according to Police Chief Travis Griffith.

An unidentified shooting victim was reported Friday morning in the 2200 block of Junius Street. The victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Griffith said the shooting took place outside the Junius Street residence, and it appears the two men knew each other.

No other details have been released at this time.
