Sex Offender Arrested After Fleeing to Brown County

 

EARLY, TX — A registered sex offender from Kermit was arrested Saturday, Feb. 7, in Brown County.

Arron Boner, 23, was arrested in Brownwood after a tip was received from Crime Stoppers. Boner, who left from Kermit, was reported to be on the run from law enforcement according to the Kermit Police Department.

A warrant was issued for Boner after he failed to register as a sex offender.

Maggen Blankenship was also arrested with Boner and was charged with obstruction.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the Early Police Department both took Boner into custody. He is being held in the Brown County Jail on $31,500 bond.
