Sterling County Sheriff’s Office Requests Public Assistance in School Burglary

 

STERLING CITY, TX — The Sterling County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying individuals involved in a burglary that occurred at Sterling City ISD on Jan. 9, 2026. 

If anyone has information, video footage or observed suspicious activity related to the incident, they’re being asked to contact the Sterling County Sheriff’s Office at 325-378-4771. 

Even small details may be helpful, the Sheriff’s Office added. Tips can be submitted anonymously.

“The cooperation of our community is greatly appreciated as we work to ensure the safety and security of our schools,” the Sheriff’s Office stated.
