Lampasas Educator Terminated Following Investigation Into Inappropriate Communication With Student

 

LAMPASAS, TX— An educator has been terminated from Lampasas High School following an investigation into inappropriate communications.

On Jan. 6, 2026, Lampasas High School sent out the following release to students and their families:

"Today, Lampasas High School Administration was made aware of possible inappropriate communications between a faculty member and a student. Lampasas High School administrators immediately investigated and notified the School Resource Officer.

As a result of this investigation, the faculty member has been terminated effective immediately and a TEA educator misconduct report has been submitted.

The safety, well-being, and trust of our students remains our highest priority in conjunction with maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment. When concerns arise, they are addressed promptly and thoroughly.

We appreciate the continued support of our students, families, and community."
