Man Booked After Alleged Robbery Involving Airsoft Gun

SAN ANGELO, TX — A robbery attempt in July allegedly involved the use or display of an airsoft gun, according to indictment documents. The suspect has been identified as Roy Munoz, 26.

A September indictment states Munoz used or exhibited the airsoft gun in a manner legally considered a deadly weapon while attempting to take property and cause bodily injury.

Munoz was arrested by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 12:04 p.m. on Nov. 17. Jail records list the charge as aggravated robbery and show he is being held with no bond.

Court documents show Munoz previously pleaded guilty to a felony drug offense involving methamphetamine, with the listed amount between four and 200 grams.
