Body Found in Big Spring Neighborhood; Police Investigating

 

BIG SPRING, TX — Police in Big Spring are investigating after several teenagers found the body of a man Sunday evening near Hill Street and Mulberry, according to the Big Spring Police Department.

Officers responded to the area around 5:40 p.m. on Nov. 2 for a report of a deceased individual. When they arrived, they located an unidentified male. Detectives and identification personnel processed the scene and began the investigation.

Police said the man’s identity has not yet been confirmed. An autopsy has been ordered by the Justice of the Peace and is scheduled for Nov. 5.

Anyone with information about a missing person or loved one who has not been heard from in recent months is asked to contact Big Spring Police at 432-264-2550.

Victim Services personnel were notified to assist the juveniles who discovered the body and to provide support to them. 

The investigation is ongoing. No further information has been released.
