Human Remains Found Outside of Snyder

SNYDER, TX — Human remains were found outside the town of Snyder on Sunday, according to the Scurry County Sheriff’s Office.

The remains were found in a field near County Road 137 north of the town.

Authorities stated evidence found at the scene may have a connection to another ongoing case.

Forensic testing is still required to ID the remains and give investigators clues as to the cause and manner of death.

The Texas Rangers are currently investigating the case.
