Elderly Man Stabbed, Another Threatened at Gunpoint in Separate San Angelo Attacks

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Police have arrested two men in connection with separate violent incidents that occurred this week in San Angelo.

On June 18, a San Angelo Police Department Narcotics Detective responded to a residence after receiving reports of active threats involving a firearm. Officers entered the home and encountered Isaiah Ramirez, 20, who was reportedly armed and threatening two individuals. Ramirez was taken into custody without further incident and charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a felony.

In an unrelated case on June 19, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of S. Chadbourne for a report of an elderly victim with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center for treatment.

Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, Silvester N. Reyes, 44, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Both investigations remain ongoing.
