SAN ANGELO, TX — Local law enforcement conducted a manhunt on Monday afternoon, May 26.
At around 3 p.m. on Monday, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Department and the San Angelo Police Department sent personnel west of San Angelo on Arden Road near Arden Road Ranch.

What started as a police chase between a Chrysler 300 and the San Angelo Police Department turned into a manhunt when the suspect fled the Chrysler 300 and entered the Arden Road Ranch. Law enforcement initiated a manhunt after that.
In addition to a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Chopper in the air, Game Wardens, State Park Police, and SAPD's K9 and Drone Units are on the scene.

The manhunt is ongoing, and Law Enforcement urges San Angelo residents to avoid the area while the operation is underway.
