$1,100 in Work Uniforms Taken from San Angelo Laundromat, Return Promised

SAN ANGELO, TX — A local auto shop is expecting the return of more than $1,100 worth of work uniforms after a man identifying himself as the father of the individual involved visited the business and said the items would be brought back.

The uniforms, labeled with “The Fox Shop” and “Adrian,” went missing from a top dryer near the game machines at Laundry Luv, located near the old H-E-B. The business had offered a $200 reward for their return, no questions asked.

According to The Fox Shop LLC, surveillance footage shows a young man and a woman—believed to be his mother—removing the uniforms, rewashing them, and placing them in a cart. The incident occurred while the owner briefly stepped away to shop at H-E-B. 

The shop noted the young man spoke with the owner before removing the items. A follow-up post stated that the boy’s father, along with the woman assumed to be the mother, visited the shop and expressed intent to return the clothing.

“That takes a REAL man, to hold your family accountable,” The Fox Shop stated in its update. “It’s not easy. But it shows a glimpse of empathy and good character.”
