SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been arrested for sexually abusing a young teenager.
Bradley Mitchell, 61, of San Angelo, has been arrested by the San Angelo Police Department for "Sex Abuse of a Child Continuous: Victim Under 14."
According to court documents, on April 22, 2025, the investigator observed a forensic interview that was conducted at the Hope House where the child victim claimed that Mitchell continuously abused them sexually.
The investigator learned from the interview that the child victim was abused on multiple occasions beginning on the child’s 13th birthday. Mitchell allegedly abused the child several different ways several times in her home.
The child victim said the first time they were assaulted was just after their 13th birthday. Mitchell asked the child if they wanted something to help with stress then removed the child’s clothes and assaulted them. Mitchell also allegedly gave the child a vibrating sex toy. The child went into the bathroom and turned the sex toy on so Mitchell would hear the noise of the device, but the child did not use the toy.
The victim then spoke about two other times Mitchell assaulted them. The child said Mitchell bought condoms and lubricant to use during one of the assaults.
Mitchell was arrested on April 22, 2025, and, as of April 24, 2025, is still and inmate in the Tom Green County Jail being held on $150,000 bond.
