SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo woman has been arrested after threatening a man with a knife.
Christle Holeman, 45, of San Angelo, has been arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to court documents, on March 29, 2025, around 1 a.m., San Angelo police responded to the 200 block of Oxford Drive after an alleged aggravated assault. Contact was made with the victim, who stated the defendant, identified as Holeman, made threats against him while holding two kitchen knives.
The victim said he and Holeman live together, and he woke up to a tapping noise and the discovery that his personal phone had been tampered with. He noticed that the tapping noise was Holeman tapping a knife on the nightstand. The victim then noticed she was holding another knife in her other hand.
Holeman allegedly held one of the knives to her neck and made statements about self harm. This deteriorated further to additional statements made by Holeman to the effect of “I’m going to kill myself,” and “I’ll take you with me."
When the victim tried to leave the room, he was hindered by Holeman as she maintained control of the knives. The victim kept shifting positions on the bed in his effort to leave. He also stated that Holeman would stab the bed in areas where he attempted to depart.
During the altercation, the victim grabbed his phone and said he was going to call the police.
At this point, Holeman left the residence to walk to a neighbor’s home, where she was intercepted by police.
A witness stated she was asleep in the residence when Holeman entered her room and requested that she be taken to another location. The witness located the knives used in the assault.
The witness also recalled that Holeman was in possession of a wine cooler, and when Holeman and the victim started grabbing for vehicle keys, Holeman threw the wine cooler at the victim.
In a mirandized interview with Holeman, she stated she confronted the victim regarding issues she felt had persisted throughout the year and during the course of her relationship with him. During the confrontation, Holeman felt she was disregarded by the victim, who was indifferent to the issues which she attempted to resolve with him.
Holeman allegedly confirmed that she did stab the bed shared by her and the victim. She stated that she did not desire to cause the victim any true harm and that she merely wanted the victim to acknowledge her issues.
A consent search of the residence found the wine cooler near the threshold of the door and two knives found in the kitchen sink that matched the description of the knives used in the assault.
Christle Holeman was arrested March 29, 2025, and was released the next day on a $15,000 bond.
