Woman Injured in North Abilene Shooting Involving Multiple Vehicles

 

ABILENE, TX — A 20-year-old woman was shot and injured in a chaotic scene involving several people and vehicles at a North Abilene apartment complex on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Abilene police, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 4:30 p.m. on March 25 in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 3300 block of Sherry Lane. Witnesses told police that multiple individuals and vehicles were involved in the shooting. However, all parties had left the scene by the time officers arrived.

The female victim was taken to a local hospital by private vehicle with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police said the investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
