San Angelo Man Indicted for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child

SAN ANGELO, TX — A Tom Green County grand jury has indicted Ivan Antonio Alfaro, 34, on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

According to the indictment, Alfaro is accused of intentionally and knowingly sexually assaulting a child under the age of 14 on or about March 25, 2018.

Alfaro was arrested on Jan. 30, 2025, by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office. He is currently held on a bond set at $50,000.

He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

More information is expected to come out as the legal process takes place.
