San Angelo Couple Arrested for Lewd Abuse of a Child

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo couple has been arrested for sexually abusing a child.

Dusty and Sabrina Padilla, both 41, have been arrested by the San Angelo Police Department for abusing a child younger than 14. Dusty was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child younger than 14, and Sabrina was arrested for indecency with a child by exposure.

According to court documents, on Jan. 24, 2025, two officers were dispatched to the Kent Kwik, located at 3251 North Bryant Boulevard, regarding a runaway child. When the officers made contact with the victim, they were informed that Dusty and Sabrina had asked the child to expose themselves. The child then said they were touched inappropriately by the adults.

The investigator advised the two officers to take the child to the Hope House.

The same day, a forensic interview was observed, and during that interview, the child victim stated they had been sexually abused by Dusty multiple times from Jan. 1, 2022, to Jan. 17, 2025. The child also stated that while in Sabrina’s bed, they exposed themselves to Sabrina, who then exposed herself back.

Dusty Padilla was arrested on Jan. 24, 2025, and is being held on $200,000 bond.
