Three Arrested in Midland for Failing Sex Offender Compliance Requirements

 

MIDLAND, TX – Three individuals were arrested on January 14 during a sex offender compliance operation conducted by the Midland County Sheriff’s Office Patrol and Criminal Investigation Divisions.

The operation resulted in the arrests of Dennis Michael Ervin, 62; David Jeffery Blakely, 53; and Sierra Elizabeth Galvan, 34, for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Ervin and Blakely were charged with failure to comply with the sex offenders' duty to register (life/annual).

Galvan was charged with failure to comply with the sex offender's duty to register (life/90 days). All three were booked into the Midland County Central Detention facility.

Sheriff David Criner spoke about the department’s dedication to community safety, stating their commitment to apprehending those who pose a threat to women and children.
