Cold Front Keeps Concho Valley Chilly

SAN ANGELO, TX — A weak cold front has moved into the region, bringing cooler temperatures and sunny skies to the Concho Valley today, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs will range from the low to mid-50s in San Angelo and surrounding areas to the mid-50s in southern locations, accompanied by north winds of 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight, temperatures are expected to drop, with lows in the mid to upper 20s. Northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph and mostly clear skies will contribute to the chilly overnight conditions.

Looking ahead, cooler weather will dominate the first half of the week. Morning lows on Monday and Tuesday will hover in the lower to mid-20s before a warming trend begins Thursday, with highs reaching the 60s by Friday.

Another cold front is forecasted to move through on Saturday, but no rainfall is expected with this system.
