San Angelo Woman Arrested After Late Night Police Chase

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo woman has been arrested after leading San Angelo police of a pursuit Wednesday night.

Information released states that on Jan. 8, 2025, officers with the San Angelo Police Department arrested a 21-year-old female driver following a reckless driving incident that resulted in property damage and a brief pursuit.

At approximately 9:14 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle driving recklessly in the 2700 block of North Chadbourne. The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver refused to comply and fled the area in her vehicle, leading to a brief pursuit.

The pursuit concluded at the intersection of 33rd and North Bryant Boulevard, where the suspect was safely taken into custody. During the incident, the suspect’s reckless driving caused minor damage to a police vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Faith Herrera, 21, was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, and accident involving damage to a vehicle.
