Midland Man Fatally Shot on Christmas Eve; Suspects at Large

 

MIDLAND, TX – A 49-year-old Midland man was fatally shot late on Christmas Eve, and authorities have yet to identify any suspects, according to the Midland Police Department.

Officers responded to the 5000 block of Pleasant Drive at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a call about a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Seward Swann, of Midland, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Swann was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The MPD reported that no suspects have been identified as of now, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact law enforcement.
