SAN ANGELO, TX — Police were seen searching this afternoon at the intersection of Melrose and Hunters Glenn and near the intersection of Hunters Glenn and Sussex with drones in the air at both locations. This was in The Bluffs neighborhood.
Troopers are led the investigation with assistance from deputies, the San Angelo Police Department, and Texas Game Warden. Agencies were using a drone to assist with the search.
Brian Varela-Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center at 6:06 p.m. on the charge of Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle. He is awaiting arraignment has no bond has been set.
