POLICE: Shooting Victim Declines to Pursue Charges, Investigation Ongoing

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A man with gunshot wounds was brought to Shannon ER Tuesday night, but police say the shooting occurred at an apartment complex behind Studio 6 on South Bryant Boulevard.

San Angelo Police were dispatched to Studio 6 around 9 p.m. on Dec. 3 after receiving a report of a shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers learned the victim had been transported to the hospital by a private vehicle.

Witnesses informed police that the incident did not take place at the hotel but at a nearby apartment complex. Officers investigating the scene located evidence connected to the shooting.

The male victim, who sustained gunshot wounds, has chosen not to pursue charges against any potential suspects. Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
