Man Arrested After Stabbing in North Abilene

 

ABILENE, TX – A man is in custody after a stabbing incident left another man with multiple wounds Tuesday afternoon in North Abilene.

Police responded to the 1400 block of Glenhaven Drive around 2:30 p.m. after receiving a call about an injured man. Officers found the victim outside a home suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was treated by first responders and transported to a hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Authorities say the suspect fled the scene on foot but was apprehended a few blocks away after officers canvassed the area.

The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Masion Boyd of Abilene, faces aggravated assault charges. Police confirmed the incident was not a random act of violence.

The investigation is ongoing.
