Crane ISD Teacher Resigns After Arrest for Harmful Material Display

 

CRANE, TX – A Crane Independent School District teacher was arrested for displaying harmful materials to minors, a Class A misdemeanor, after students encountered an inappropriate image on the teacher’s personal computer during school hours.

The teacher has since resigned, according to a statement released by Crane ISD. The district emphasized its commitment to student safety and confirmed it is fully cooperating with law enforcement in the investigation.

“Immediate actions were taken in accordance with district policies,” the statement read. Crane ISD also announced plans to provide additional training and resources to staff to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Parents are encouraged to discuss the matter with their children and reach out to school officials with any concerns.
