HOUSTON, TX — Two men face murder charges after a man was dropped from a six-story parking garage during a robbery near downtown Houston, police said. One suspect was apprehended on November 7, while the other surrendered a week later on November 14.
Isaiah Ray Williams, 18, and Enrique Malaquias Bonilla, 21, are accused of killing Sostenos Briones, 23, in a robbery on September 26 at an apartment parking garage on Leona Street, north of I-10. Briones was found dead in a breezeway between the apartment complex and the garage, suffering from blunt-force trauma to his torso.
Houston Police Department detectives P. Michon and D. Davis reported that officers responded to a call about a deceased person at 6:50 p.m. Houston Fire Department paramedics identified the victim as Briones.
Following an investigation, Bonilla was identified and arrested on November 7 after admitting to his role in the robbery. Williams turned himself in to authorities on November 14. Both suspects face charges in the 185th State District Court.
