San Angelo Man Arrested for Possessing Gross Images of Children

SAN ANGELO, TX— A San Angelo man has been arrested for possession of lewd images of children.

Jesse Hoes, 47, of San Angelo, has been arrested for possession of child pornography.

According to court documents, on May 29, 2024, a Special Agent with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division investigated a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children or NCMEC, in reference to child pornography.

During the investigation, the Special Agent applied for a Google Search Warrant. Google complied with the request and provided information for the defendant, identified as Jesse Don Hoes.

Google account returns produced multiple screenshots images that were saved on Hoes’ electronic devices that showed both boys and girls, between the ages of 6 and 10, with exposed private areas.

Several other files were located within the Google returns that were of a similar nature. In addition, a forensic search was provided by the FBI North Texas Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory for Hoes’ electronic devices. The report uncovered multiple images on Hoes’ cellphone, a Google Pixel 8, that contained the same lewd images of children initially reported by NCMEC, along with several other pornographic images.

Hoes was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Nov. 12, 2024. He was released the next day on $50,000 bond.
