Whiskey River Brawler Spit on EMS Medic 

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A woman believed to have initiated a brawl at the Whiskey River Saloon, located at 125 E. Concho Ave, early this morning has been arrested and is now facing multiple charges.

According to police, 21-year-old Brianna Hair allegedly assaulted another woman, sparking a series of violent events. Witnesses reported that the incident escalated, leaving one man lying motionless on the ground after he was reportedly kicked and beaten by several individuals. However, some police witnesses questioned whether the man had simply fallen.

Upon the arrival of EMS, authorities say Ms. Hair spit on a medic who was attempting to provide her with medical assistance. According to our reporter on the scene, she was screaming loudly as EMS personnel transported her to the ambulance. As a result, Ms. Hair has been charged with harassment of a public servant.

In addition to that charge, Ms. Hair faces charges of assault causing bodily injury, public intoxication, and resisting arrest or transport.

Police stated that Ms. Hair was taken to Shannon ER for treatment of minor injuries before being booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 5:58 a.m. this morning. She is currently held on a $28,962 bond.

The police investigation is ongoing, but authorities have indicated that all potential suspects have been identified.
