Scam Alert in Midland

 

MIDLAND, TX — The Midland Police Department has issued a scam alert after receiving multiple reports of a caller impersonating Lt. Jason Lee.

The scammer is contacting residents using the phone number (432) 217-0451 and falsely claiming there is a warrant for “Failure to Appear for Jury Duty.”

As of the latest reports, no money has been requested from victims, but authorities are urging residents to stay vigilant. The police department advises anyone receiving such a call to hang up immediately and report the incident.
