SAN ANGELO, TX – A shoplifting suspect led San Angelo police on an extensive foot chase after stealing a compound bow from Walmart on Sherwood Way.
This happened today around 11 a.m. when officers responded to the incident. The male suspect concealed the item in his backpack and fled the scene before police arrived.
A City Marshal later spotted the suspect walking on Sherwood Way and attempted to detain him. The suspect evaded the officer, fleeing on foot. The suspect was subsequently located near the DK Convenience Store on Southwest Boulevard but managed to escape into the area’s water drainage tunnels.
Despite an extensive search involving patrol officers and the San Angelo Police Department’s drone unit, the suspect was not found, and the search was eventually called off. Authorities are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual.
The police have provided a photo of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to contact the Police Department, referencing Case Number 2024-0009108.

Lmao can't find one criminal on foot but wants raises and they even had drones out. I think this is enough proof that our law enforcement does NOT deserve any type of raise, but instead need to go back to the police academy for retraining and probably the gym because most of them are fat and out of shape and only catch chips when they fall from their mouths.
