Three Arrested in Major Child Exploitation & Animal Cruelty Bust

NEW CANEY, TX - Authorities arrested three individuals on charges of child pornography and animal cruelty following a raid on a New Caney residence.

This happened on Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, when Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigations Division, with assistance from members of the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, and The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, executed a residential search warrant at a residence located in New Caney, Texas.

The search warrant stemmed from the Montgomery County Pct. 3 ICAC Detective’s proactive investigation related to the offense of promotion and distribution of child pornography into The Woodlands.

At the time of execution, Detectives found the residence to be in uninhabitable condition, covered in animal urine and feces. The conditions resulted in the dispatch of The Woodlands Fire Department’s HAZMAT team, as well as Child Protective Services. An infant was discovered in the home, along with several animals. The infant was removed from the home by CPS and the animals were safely removed by the Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office and Montgomery County Animal Control

The result of this investigation led to three arrests of the individuals who reside in the home. Robert Craig Walker was found to be associated with promoting and possessing thousands of images depicting the sexual assault of infants and toddlers.

Robert Walker was charged with five counts of promotion/distribution of child pornography, endangering a child, and animal cruelty. Frances Walker and Leigh Baker were charged with animal cruelty and endangering a child. All three subjects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Robert Walker is currently being held on a collective $170,500 bond. Leigh Baker and Frances Walker are being held on a $25,750 bond.
