Police Still Searching for Teen Girl's Assailant

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A teen girl was injured during a shooting that took place late Saturday evening on the north side of the Houston Harte Expressway.

Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Shiloh for a shooting victim. Police arrived on scene and located a 17-year-old female with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers applied first aid to the victim on scene and she was rushed to Shannon Medical Center in an ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

The police Criminal Investigations Division, Drone Team, and Crime Scene Division arrived on scene to assisted with the investigation that remains ongoing. Police believe this incident was an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon offense but have not named a suspect.
