Man Indicted for Vandalizing Offices of Housley Communications

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been indicted for damaging and destroying the offices at Housley Communications.

Noah Gonzales, 24, was indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for criminal mischief after damaging the offices of Housley Communications.

According to court documents, San Angelo police were dispatched to Housley Communications, located at 3550 South Bryant Boulevard, regarding a possible burglary in December 2023.

Officers observed obvious damage to the building, including a broken front door and side window. Inside, the building had also been damaged and ransacked in several areas. An employee estimated the damage to be around $15,000.

Video surveillance captured the suspect’s actions. The suspect appeared to be a Hispanic male with long black hair and a short black beard, wearing a black tank top, blue jeans, and cowboy boots. He walked up to Housley Communications around 4 a.m. on December 23, 2023, and began throwing objects at the security light near the front door until it was damaged.

The video also depicts the suspect using an unknown object to shatter the front door. He entered the building and caused extensive damage, including tearing down Christmas decorations, tipping over desks, ripping electrical cords from the ceiling and walls, and using a vacuum cleaner to smash ceiling tiles.

The suspect also caused damage in unmonitored areas of the building.

Still images from the surveillance footage were shared on social media in an attempt to identify the suspect. Two separate phone calls were received from individuals who claimed to know the suspect. They identified him as Noah Gonzales and provided a picture of Gonzales.

One of the photographs showed a tattoo of a Bible verse on his upper left chest, which matched an image from the surveillance footage.

Gonzales was arrested on December 29, 2023, and released on December 30, 2023, on $12,000 bond.
