Wall ISD Teacher Arrested Again

SAN ANGELO— The Wall ISD teacher who was arrested for Online Solicitation of a Minor has been arrested again.

Joshua Carroll, 33, was arrested on May 13, 2024, for Online Solicitation of a Minor and now has been arrested again, this time on the US Marshals. 

According to information released by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, on March 20, 2024, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by administrative personal from Wall ISD about several underage female students receiving sexually explicit messages and other forms of communication from an unknown individual.

This unknown individual was using TikTok and a texting app to contact these underage students. Investigators learned that this unknown individual, who was eventually identified as Carroll, communicated sexually explicit language and described sexual conduct.

Carroll also attempted to solicit sexually explicit photos from female students and provided one student, who was younger than 15-years-old, a pornographic photo.

On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, Carroll was arrested by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and a search warrant was conducted on his electronic devices in his residence and at the Wall High School.

During the investigation, several underage students confirmed that they were targeted by Carroll.

Wall Superintendent Russell Dacy told San Angelo LIVE! that the school district is cooperating fully with the investigation.

Carroll was employed at Wall ISD as an assistant band director since January 2022. 

Carroll was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on May 14, 2024, and was released on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, on $45,000 bond.
