Heavy Law Enforcement & FBI Presence Near San Angelo Elementary Causes Concern

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A criminal search warrant was executed beside San Jacinto Elementary School, prompting safety concerns. 

It happened this morning, May 2, around 9:30 a.m. at the school located at 800 Spaulding St.

According to Tom Green County Sheriff Nick Hanna, the school was notified, and security measures were enacted due to its proximity. 

He said that the scene is secure and there is no threat to the public. 

A reporter on the scene saw deputies, troopers, a crime scene unit vehicle, and an FBI agent. 

The reporter also saw a woman handcuffed and escorted by a trooper and FBI agent headed to a nearby house on Spaulding St.
