SAN ANGELO, Texas — Jesse Galvan, 35, of San Angelo, was arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon after allegedly pointing a gun at a victim in a Whataburger drive-thru lane, according to court documents.
San Angelo police responded to a threats call at the Whataburger located at 4646 Knickerbocker Road around 2:30 a.m. on April 28, 2024. Officers were informed that the victim, while parked in the drive-thru lane, was rear-ended by Galvan, who was driving a Black Ford truck, as per the report.
The victim, equipped with rear dash camera footage, approached Galvan's vehicle to exchange information. However, upon doing so, Galvan allegedly rolled down his window and pointed a gun at the victim's head. The victim retreated to his own vehicle with his hands up, verbalizing Galvan's possession of a firearm, as captured on dash camera footage.
Galvan then allegedly continued to behave aggressively, positioning his truck behind the victim's vehicle and taunting him before departing the scene. Using security and dash cam footage, police identified Galvan's license plate and located his truck at Sunset Apartments.
Galvan was apprehended on May 1, 2024, and is currently held at Tom Green County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
