SAN ANGELO, Texas—Corrections Officers at the Tom Green County Jail report 23 individuals were booked since the last daily update on charges ranging from Disorderly Conduct Abusive Language to Felony Theft to Illegal Possession of Body Armor to Illegal Immigration.
There are 461 inmates housed in the Tom Green County Jail presently.

San Angelo Police arrested Ashley Nelson, 40, for Disorderly Conduct - Abusive Language. She was booked into the TGCJ at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday. Her bond is listed at $412.00.
U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested three Illegal Aliens Tuesday. They were booked into jail around the noon hour Tuesday. They are being held pending transfer to federal custody. The three illegal immigrants are:

Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Rusty Wayne Hinson of McCulloch County again for felony Theft of Property between $2500 and $30,000. He was booked into jail at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday and released at 9:58 p.m. after posting $35,000.00 bond. Hinson has been arrested multiple times accused of the same or similar crimes.
As we reported earlier, Hinson was arrested in early December 2023 on a Warrant out of Concho County for Theft of Service between $2,500 and $30,000. Court records show Hinson was indicted by a Tom Green Co. Grand Jury for three counts of Theft of Property in March of 2023. He is accused of taking between $2,500 and $30,000 cash from Dane Green. In December, Hinson was booked into the Tom Green Co. Jail at 10:44 a.m. Friday and released at 11:58 a.m. after posting $10,000.00 bond.
