Ballinger Man Arrested for Murdering His Wife

 

BALLINGER, Texas — The Ballinger Police Department reported on Tuesday that a man has been apprehended on a murder charge following the alleged discovery of his deceased wife in their home.

Mary Barker was found lifeless in her residence after law enforcement officers responded to a welfare check call in the afternoon, according to authorities.  Sources tell San Angelo LIVE! she was missing for three weeks.  

James Boyette Barker, 45, the husband of Mary Barker, was detained by authorities later that day.

Currently, James Barker is being detained in the Runnels County Jail, as confirmed by the Ballinger Police Department.
