Woman Injured in North Lubbock Drive-By

 

LUBBOCK, TX – The Lubbock Police Department is currently investigating a shooting in North Lubbock, which nearly resulted in a woman sustaining a gunshot wound.

Law enforcement responded to a call reporting shots fired in the 2600 block of Cornell Street. A police report reveals that the suspect, positioned in the roadway, deliberately discharged a firearm towards a residence in the 2500 block of Cornell Street.

The report details that the victim was inside the residence, lying on the couch in the living room when a bullet from the suspect's firearm entered the room, passing over the location where the victim was situated.
