Traffic Stop Yields Large Meth Bust in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -  A traffic stop by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division led to the apprehension of Adrien Garcia, 19, on charges of possessing over 110 grams of methamphetamine.

In a traffic stop conducted on the early morning of Saturday, January 20th, by a moving violation, law enforcement officials stumbled upon a cache of illicit substances within the vehicle. 

The findings included an undisclosed quantity of marijuana, unidentified pills, paraphernalia indicative of narcotics sale/delivery, and a staggering 110 grams of methamphetamine.

The driver, identified as Garcia, found himself in custody as the sole occupant of the vehicle. Garcia now faces charges of Possession of Marijuana (< 2 OZ.) and the serious offense of Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1< =4G < 200G – a first-degree felony.
